About
This blog offers commentary on current developments and scholarship in the field of international economic law and policy. It was started in January 2006 by Joel Trachtman and Simon Lester, and is managed by WorldTradeLaw.net, with contributions by law professors, trade lawyers, and trade policy experts. Simon Lester is the editor-in-chief and Inu Manak is associate editor. Please contact Simon Lester, Joel Trachtman, or Inu Manak with any comments or suggestions.
Comment policy
One of our goals with this blog is to stimulate discussion of trade issues, and we welcome comments on the blog posts. However, we will delete comments that are profane, mean spirited, racist, sexist, or otherwise inappropriate.
In order to comment, you will need to create a membership on the site. As part of that process, you will have to enter your name and email address. We will not use that information in any way. Please note that in creating a membership, you will be signed up to get email notifications of new posts, but you can turn off these notifications in your account settings.
Requests to post conference and journal information and other announcements
We receive many requests to post information on upcoming conferences, calls for papers from journals, and similar announcements. While the main focus of the blog is on substantive international economic law discussions, we try to accommodate these requests, although we cannot promise to post everything. If you would like to submit something for posting, please contact Inu Manak.
