A major WTO law conference will take place at Tsinghua University, Beijing, later this week. Notably, a number of current and former members of the Appellate Body will be there. Here is the information from the conference website:

To commemorate the twentieth anniversary of and in collaboration with the WTO, Tsinghua University is organizing a conference in July 2015 entitled “WTO at 20: The Multilateral Trading System, Dispute Settlement and Developing Countries”.
The conference will take place from 3 July to 4 July 2015 at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. It will address extensively on a wide range of topics about the WTO, including the past, present, and future of the WTO; evolution of dispute settlement from GATT/WTO; functioning and authority of the Appellate Body; challenges ahead; and China and the WTO. Panel discussions will cover ten topics, including encompassing DSU reform; treaty interpretation; enforcement; trade remedies; trade related intellectual property; trade in services; FTA and the WTO; trade and environment; trade and investment; and developing countries and the WTO.
High level speakers such as the DDG of WTO, the former Ambassador Sun Zhenyu are being invited to speak at the conference. We warmly welcome all the experts and professors in this area to join this great conference. Looking forward to seeing you at Tsinghua University.
