Trade Policy Research Assistant Position

We are looking for a full-time research assistant at Cato's trade policy center.  Here are the details:

The Cato Institute seeks a research assistant to support the efforts of its  trade scholars, who focus on educating the public about the benefits of free  trade and the costs of protectionism. The ideal candidate will have an excellent  work ethic, strong writing and communications skills, a real interest in the  details of U.S. trade policy, some understanding of the institutions,  organizations, agencies and other entities that affect trade policy, and some  appreciation for the legislative, administrative, political, and historical  details that animate the U.S. trade policy debate.

Advanced degree in economics or public policy preferred. Compensation will be  commensurate with experience, accomplishment, and ability.
