Streaming live from China:
UNCTAD is having a day specifically focusing on International Investment Agreements (IIAs) - http://unctad-worldinvestmentforum.org/page/about_wif. Starting 10am Bejing time on Tuesday morning (10pm DC time on Monday evening), UNCTAD will be doing a live stream of the IIA conference as well as offering blogging for in-person and remote conference participants. In an effort to promote stakeholder participation and broader transparency - and doing so in a "green" way that minimize the carbon footprint of conference participation, UNCTAD is opening this up more broadly to reach the developed and the developing world. The gateway is here: https://www.g15law-unctadpilot.org/iiaconference/. All that is required is for people to register, wait for about 30 minutes or so for the registration to clear, and then they can participate by watching the stream and asking questions on the liveblog. The idea is that comments/questions that come in through the liveblog will then be fed to the the conference moderator/organizers so that they can become integrated into the live discussion - and then perhaps spawn additional virtual commentary that provides constructive discussion.
