The SIEL's November 2008 E-Newsletter (including the new officers and executive council) can be found at http://www.sielnet.org/Default.aspx?pageId=67692

Also of note is that it has been decided that the next global SIEL conference will take place in 2010.  A Request for Proposals (“RFPs”) to host the event will be going out in the New Year. That  RFP will provide the specific criteria we would want to see in any such proposals.

For 2009 we have decided to focus on regional events. You will hear more about those events in the coming months (locations, formats, call for papers, etc).
