The International Economic Law Interest Group (IELIG) of the American Society of International Law (ASIL), in cooperation with the ASIL, is pleased to announce the launch of “ASIL Insights - International Economic Law Edition.” The IELIG promotes academic interest, discussion, research and publication on subjects broadly related to the transnational movement and regulation of goods, services, persons and capital. ASIL Insights provide decision makers, the general public, and members of the legal profession around the world with brief, balanced accounts and analyses of significant legal developments and newsworthy events involving international law. We call for submissions from both scholars and practitioners relating to developments in international economic law topics, including international trade law, international investment law, international commercial arbitration, economic integration law, international business transactions, international financial law, international tax law, international intellectual property law and the role of law in development. ASIL Insights – International Economic Law Edition will be posted on the ASIL website and will be distributed to ASIL Insights subscribers.
Proposals for ASIL Insights – International Economic Law Edition will be accepted on a rolling basis. Proposals including a proposed title and abstract of 150-200 words should be e-mailed to the IELIG Co-Vice Chair Sungjoon Cho ([email protected]). The full Insights completed on the basis of accepted proposals should conform to the Insights style guide (http://www.asil.org/documents/InsightsDraftingandProductionGuidelines070205.pdf) and must be shorter than 2000 words. IELG and the Insights board are committed to the timely publication of accepted material.
