Virtual Symposium on EU Investment Screening
You are warmly invited to attend an online symposium on Investment Screening in the European Union, to be webcast live on 29 April 2020, 14:00-17:00 CET, and 30 April 2020, 10:00-13:00 CET. The event is organized in cooperation with the European Commission and stakeholders from business, private practice, and academia as part of the CELIS initiative. It is hosted by Steffen Hindelang (University of Southern Denmark) and Jens Hillebrand Pohl (Academy of European Law / Maastricht University). The purpose of this ‘virtual symposium’ is to provide uniform practical training and analysis on the application and implications of the new EU Investment Screening Regulation 2019/452, before it becomes fully applicable on 11 October 2020. Invitations are extended to investment screening authorities and investment protection agencies of the Member States. The event is not open to the public.
