The law journal Legal Issues of Economic Integration will be holding a conference to assess the changing role of institutions in economic integration, including proposed, contested and new institutions in bilateral, regional and global settings. The conference will take place at the Amsterdam Law School on 8 May 2020. Proposals including abstracts of no more than 500 words and the speaker’s contact details and CV (including affiliation, relevant experience and publications) or inquiries regarding the Conference should be sent to [email protected]. Given the 15 January 2020 developments that relate directly to institutionalization and de-institutionalization of economic agreements, the deadline for the submission of paper proposals, originally set for that date, has been extended to 27 January 2020. Selected papers will be included in a special Issue of Legal Issues of Economic Integration. Successful applicants will be informed by 31 January 2020 and must submit papers (between 5,000 and 8,000 words, including footnotes) by 20 April 2020. Applicants should in principle be able to cover their own expenses.
