The passing of John Jackson leaves us with a feeling of tremendous loss. So many of us owe John so much! He was our teacher, mentor, inspirator, colleague and friend and never ceased to encourage, support and advise us throughout our career. We would not be doing what we are doing now if it was not for him. The field of international trade law would not be what it has become without his academic leadership and vision. His legacy is huge and it is for us to continue doing it justice.
